Comcast Cares Day at Wilson Middle School

More than 600 Comcast employees along with their friends and families and community members recently volunteered at Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Castor Gardens as part of Comcast Cares Day.

Volunteers painted dozens of murals in hallways, lunch rooms, gyms, etc.

Multiple classrooms also were freshened up with new coats of paint, as were athletic courts on the blacktop outside.

An annual event, Comcast Cares Day is the largest single-day corporate volunteering effort in the country. Here is a link to a video that follows one student and shows what Comcast did at the school and the impact.
